More J-Lo on T.V.
I’m a big Jennifer Lopez fan, well more of the oldschool Jenni–you know when she did good movies like Selena, Out of Sight, and The Wedding Planner and remember those great hit songs she had like “Waiting for Tonight”, “My Love Don’t Cost A Thing”, and “I’m Real” …well as we all know, she is now known for just being J-Lo and not for her acting or singing. So, Ms. Lopez has been going back to her roots now, remember she began as a Fly Girl on the show In Living Color back in the early 90′s. She recently did a surprise intro on the Lopez Tonight show, she is in talks to do a guest appearance on Glee sometime soon, and it has now been confirmed she will do guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother in a March episode. Maybe she’s doing all this TV time as a way to promote her upcoming album Love?, but don’t singers usually do performances (oh, yea I remember the AMA disaster) and interviews? Based on her leaked single “Fresh off the Oven” and her current official single “Loubitins”, this new album is not promising anything great or interesting. This is a must now, in the time of Lady Gaga & Rihanna. Maybe it’s time to go the way Janet Jackson did and just semi-retire for now.
