La lista de artistas cantando en la nueva version es larga, incluyendo: Adam Levine, Josh Groban, Pink, Kanye West, Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Akon, Usher, y unos 75 mas artistas. Faltaron muchos A list celebrities como: Shakira, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, Jay Z, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood – - tal vez no puderion o no quisieron participar. The original single is one of the highest selling of all time and this new version will benefit Haiti and the rebuilding of that country after the massive January earthquake.
