Christina Aguilera’s “You Lost Me”
Christina Aguilera’s new album Bionic has not had the best sales or reviews but it is not due to the music, I think. I think the marketing strategy has not been the best, instead of trying to lump her into the Gaga group with “Not Myself Tonight” or the hip hop group with “Woohoo”, the focus should have been on this new single “You Lost Me”. I mean the song, the lyrics, the video…all a perfect blend. Even her look in the video, she looks raw, soft, broken, and still looks strong. The perfect blend of soft graphics in just the right parts of the video, make the emotions of the song stand out even more. There are parts where she doesn’t even sing and still gives off a lot of emotion with a simple glare. I must say, one of her best work to date…I put it up in the same level as her classic hit songs “Beautiful” and “Fighter”.
